The Crowcon Gas-Tec Mk5 is a portable, low level (ppm) hydrocarbon detector for rapid survey and leak localisation. Building on the fast response, proven sensing technology of prior versions Gas-Tec Mk5 adds convenience and trace-ability via GPS position determination plus full data, event and location logging. This allows operators to easily store results and pinpoint areas to investigate further, and contractors to demonstrate survey routes have been effectively covered.
Though usually calibrated for methane Gas-Tec Mk5 will also detect a wide range of other hydrocarbons including propane, butane, pentane and tetrahydrofuran (THF). If required Gas-Tec Mk5 readings can be corrected to accurately measure these alternative gases - Please contact Altitude Safety for further details.
